Villas Del Paseo Enhances Amenities for Residents | WESTCHASE DISTRICT

Comunidad Partners is the new owner of Villas del Paseo apartments at 3030 Elmside Drive. A top priority was to task its management unit, Comuna Property Management, with designing visually appealing upgrades. It chose a new color palette for its property which previously lacked vibrancy.

“We wanted to bring a breath of fresh air, like the feeling of Mexican hospitality, to our residents so we had the community painted with loud colors that echo the beautiful streets of Mexico,” said Brendon Castillo, leasing consultant for Villas eel Paseo.

Villas Del Paseo: Small changes with a large impression

“Once we took over property management, we started implementing small changes, and turned them into something much larger for our residents,” said Castillo. A business center was launched where residents can use computers for work, send a fax or print documents. Villas del Paseo updated its fitness center. While some properties focus on lifestyle amenities that attract working professionals, Villas del Paseo delivered an intangible amenity. Castillo says an important focus at his community is children, since a lot of households have two working parents. Villas del Paseo has added programs designed to give children a nurturing living and learning environment.

Near the fitness center and across from the business center is a meeting room for classes and programs. The room also has a rack stand with reading materials. “We have started a kid’s club where we have teamed up with the Houston Food Bank and we have volunteers who hand out free meals to kids Monday to Friday,” said Castillo. Villas del Paseo has held back-to-school giveaways distributing free backpacks stocked with school supplies and snacks. A new playground was built in weeks.

A new playground at the property was built within two weeks.

“Following the addition of these amenities, we had a large increase of traffic to the property with prospective residents indicating that they were drawn to what we were doing,” said Castillo.
