Game on: WeGotSoccer’s Westchase store features a sleek, modern layout and 10,000 square feet of soccer gear for fans and players alike.
Soccer fans and players in Houston just scored big. WeGotSoccer, a major East Coast retailer known for raising the bar in soccer gear, has officially opened its second Houston location in Westchase District at 9521 Westheimer Road.
Why Westchase?
Owned by Arocam Sports and headquartered in Massachusetts, WeGotSoccer has spent the last 30 years building a reputation as one of the country’s top destinations for all things soccer. Now, with the 2026 World Cup headed to Houston, the timing felt right for a move into Texas.
“All of our analytics pointed to Houston, and Westchase was a clear fit,” said Raul Perera, store manager of the new location. “There’s a lot of soccer being played in this area. It’s central, it’s connected, and it’s underserved when it comes to high-end soccer retail.”
More than just a store
WeGotSoccer isn’t your typical mom-and-pop soccer shop with flickering fluorescents and a few racks of cleats. The 10,000-square-foot retail floor features a sleek, modern design and a wide range of premium gear, including 168 jersey options and 166 boot styles.
“Most soccer fans in Houston have never had a chance to try on cleats like this before,” said Perera. “High-tier boots, fan jerseys, all the extras – this is the kind of stuff you used to have to order online and just hope it fit. Now you can come in and actually feel what pro-level gear is like.”

Wall-to-wall options: The boot wall features 166 cleat styles, giving players of all levels a chance to try on top-tier footwear before hitting the field.
The store features multiple cleat tiers, a full goalkeeper section, training gear, maintenance products and a fan shop. Shoppers will also find plenty of gear for local teams, including the Houston Dynamo and Dash, as well as a “Make It Yours” station that can instantly personalize jerseys with names and numbers.
A hub for fans and players
WeGotSoccer has partnered with TUDN, the sports broadcasting arm of Univision – ESPN for Mexico, as Perera describes it – to bring more Liga MX gear to shelves. The Westchase location is one of the few places in the U.S. where fans can find a wide selection of Liga MX jerseys.
The store also houses a 5,000-square-foot distribution center to help fulfill online orders and a podcast studio, which Perera hopes will be used to record shows, livestream interviews, and maybe even host visiting players in the lead-up to the 2026 World Cup.
“We wanted to make this more than just a store,” Perera said. “It’s a hub. A place where fans and players can connect. We’re hoping to use the studio to host soccer podcasts, live broadcasts with TUDN, even interview pro players.”

Mic check: The in-store podcast studio is designed for interviews, livestreams and soccer-focused shows leading up to the 2026 World Cup.
Helping youth players
For youth players, it’s also a one-stop shop for uniforms and custom sizing. The Westchase store is already working with area youth clubs on fittings and sizing days, a service Perera says can save families time and money.
“We’re trying to redefine what a soccer store looks like,” he said. “This isn’t just about selling gear. It’s about creating an experience; a place where people feel welcome – whether they’re a kid playing club ball or a die-hard fan gearing up for match day. Houston’s ready for this, and we’re excited to be here.”
