Conference rooms. Storage space. Room for more employees and computers. And, of course, greater revenues. If you own a young, growing business — and possibly run it from an executive suite or even your living room — you are sure to have these things on your wish list. Westchase District should be on your list, too. Here small office suites are affordable, plentiful and more than sophisticated enough to impress potential clients and employees alike. Consider, too, that the District itself offers a full array of amenities, a focus on public safety and beautification and one of the most centrally-accessible areas in Houston.
Take it from two successful entrepreneurs who made the move to Westchase District long ago and still sing its praises — Jim Russ of EHRA Engineers, and Vicki Roy from BQR Advertising and Public Relations, Inc.
Grow wisely and smartly. That’s the best advice I can offer to a young, growing business. My father moved EHRA Inc. to Westchase in the late ‘80s because of economics. Here we found the right building in the right place at the right time. Clearly, the location is fantastic — at the intersection of what I call “great and greater,” that is, Beltway 8 and Westpark Tollway. Having our office in a central location in Westchase District has been a great plus and advantage for our team members and colleagues, who travel from as far away as League City, Seabrook, Fort Bend County, even Magnolia and Willis.
What’s more, we have access to critical infrastructure that can take us literally anywhere. We have great restaurant choices, excellent retail shopping, an abundance of grocery stores, easy access to banking and phenomenal healthcare options. Of course, Westchase District Farmers Market is an asset to the community, too. But one of the greatest attributes of Westchase District is the security presence of off-duty police officers, who provide a level of security to which everyone in Westchase District has grown accustomed.

I started my ad agency more than 30 years ago in my living room and gradually moved up the ranks to an executive suite, a series of tiny offices and finally a comfortable space with a great kitchen, a roomy conference room and a corner office with magenta crepe myrtles just outside the windows!
All those years, I stayed in Westchase District. It had everything I needed close to my home. Abundant restaurants and shops. Outstanding landscaping. And a thriving business community, meaning lots of potential clients. I hope to need an entire floor of office space one day. If that happens, I will definitely look for that space in Westchase District.
