School Supply Drive Kicks Off | WESTCHASE DISTRICT

Every year, area businesses collect school supply donations that are disbursed through West Houston Assistance Ministries to students in need.

By hosting donation boxes, Westchase District-area businesses can help the Westchase District Community Fund’s (WDCF) school supply drive, taking place during the month of July. Locations hosting a donation box for school supplies will help collect donations that the WDCF will distribute to West Houston Assistance Ministries to help families in need. The need for school supplies is always essential especially as retail prices have risen since last year.

Look for this donation box at the below locations.

Requested supplies include:

  • Backpacks (transparent or mesh)
  • Colored pencils
  • Construction paper

If you would like to host a collection box, call Louis Jullien, 713-780-9434 or send him an email. “We appreciate how businesses go above and beyond for the school supply drive every year – they make a big impact with area students getting much needed supplies,” said Jullien.
