DINE AROUND

Adventurous diners are lining up again to buy tickets to the Westchase District's annual Dine Around.  The 2008 event will be held on Thursday, January 31.  Participating restaurants include Amazon Grill, Palazzo's, Ragin Cajun, Rudi Lechner's and Santos The Taste of Mexico. 

Each restaurant will serve portions of its signature dishes, allowing diners to enjoy a sampling of Westchase District cuisine.  Everything from Ragin Cajun's famous Red Beans & Rice, to spinach quesadillas and chicken flautas at Santos, and Rudi Lechner's German specialties, including Polish Sausage and Hungarian Goulash.

The restaurants donate their food and services and all proceeds from the event benefit West Houston Assistance Ministries (WHAM).

The $25 tickets are available at WHAM's Second Blessing store, 10501 Meadowglen (at Rodgerdale) and from ticket sellers representing WHAM's Board of Directors. 

The event begins at 6:00 pm at Santos, located in the Carillon Center at 10001 Westheimer.  Guests will travel via shuttle bus to three of the five participating restaurants, then return to Santos at the end of the evening.

Thanks to each of the participating restaurants, plus Grace Presbyterian Church, New Zion Christian Church and Quillian Recreational Center for providing transportation.
