Westchase District Farmers Market features high-quality, locally-grown seasonal fresh foods. Each Thursday at 3 p.m, more than two dozen vendors sell farm-fresh products, including pork, lamb, beef, bison, eggs and produce. Other vendors feature value-added products such as locally-made jams and jellies, honey, specialty soaps, artisan breads, and olive oils. Westchase District has three interconnecting trails that offer recreational opportunities for serious athletes or casual outdoor enthusiasts. The HCC Campus Trail runs south from Westheimer along a CenterPoint Energy powerline corridor. With a mid-street crossing at Meadowglen Lane, the trail continues south to Richmond where users can take the existing sidewalk east to the District’s Library Loop Trail and connect to the Brays Bayou Connector Trail. Westchase District landscapes and maintains all three, and Westchase District patrol officers provide security.
